Strong weekend for Josh Rice with pair of Top-5 outings at Brownstown and Atomic
With Friday's event at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) pushed to Sunday afternoon, the JRR Motorsports duo of Josh Rice and Jason Jameson started off two days with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on Saturday at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway for the Indiana Icebreaker.
Rice earned a Top-5 the hard way as he charged from 17th-to-4th in the 50-lap main event on Saturday. Josh finished behind Devin Moran, Ricky Thornton Jr., and Max Blair in the $25,000 feature. Josh got to the Top-5 slightly easier on Sunday afternoon as he went from 10th-to-4th to record his second Top-5 outing of the weekend.
Jameson made both Lucas Oil features and recorded finishes of 15th in both.
