Josh Rice seventh in Illini 100; Jameson runner-up with Northern Allstars at Montpelier

Josh Rice took the main JRR crew to Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway on Friday and Saturday for the 19th-running of the Illini 100 with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series while Jason Jameson went over to Montpelier (Ind.) Motor Speedway on Saturday for the $7,500-to-win Northern Allstars show.

Finishing 23rd in the $12,000-to-win opener, Rice raced his way into the $25,000-to-win finale and started ninth on the grid. Josh made up couple spots to record a Top-10 finish in seventh.

Jameson started eighth in his main event on Saturday and charged to the front as he contended for the victory with Rusty Schlenk. Eventually, Jason settled for a runner-up finish.
