Justin Rattliff Marches to Spring 50 Victory at Florence Speedway

Atomic and Brownstown Up Next with LOLMDS

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (March 23, 2026) — Justin Rattliff captured his first career Northern Allstars Late Model Series victory Saturday night, earning a $10,000 payday in the Spring 50 at Florence Speedway aboard the JRR Motorsports / JRR Motor Sales LLC No. 16 Longhorn Chassis Late Model.

The hard-charging Kentucky native powered past teammate Josh Rice on lap 47 and led the final four circuits to secure the win—one he dedicated to team manager Tim Tungate and the late crew chief Jeff Gullett.

“Man, we had a good race car,” Rattliff said. “That was a hell of a race with Josh … I’ll tell you what, he did a good job. The track was just awesome. You could go all over it.”

It was a busy night for JRR Motorsports on Saturday evening, which fielded three entries with Rattliff, Jason Jameson, and Rice all in competition for the series opener.

Jameson showed early speed but was sidelined during parade laps of the feature due to a mechanical issue, ending his night before taking the green flag after being slated to start on the front row.

Rice, meanwhile, dominated the early portion of the program, winning both his heat race and the dash to earn the pole position. His dash victory also secured a $2,500 bonus as part of a tribute to late track co-owner John Weber.

Rattliff took a different route to the front. After narrowly transferring into the feature by securing the final transfer spot in his heat race, he started from the seventh row and methodically worked his way forward. Tracking down Rice—who led laps 1–5 and 8–46—Rattliff made his winning move on lap 47 and never looked back, capturing his first victory of the season in just his third start.

Rice battled through a late-race vibration to salvage a fourth-place finish in the 50-lap finale.
