Josh Rice puts JRR Motorsports in Gateway Dirt Nationals at The Dome
With Jason Jameson racing on Thursday and Josh Rice on Friday, the JRR Motorsports duo made the hike to The Dome at America's Center (St. Louis, Mo.) and joined a strong field of Super Late Models in town for the Gateway Dirt Nationals.
Jason kicked off the indoor weekend with a eighth-to-second charge in his heat race and then finished 11th in the evening's preliminary feature. On Friday, Josh set quicktime and won his heat race before finishing seventh in the $10,000-to-win feature.
On the final night of competition, Josh was able to race his way into the $70,000-to-win finale by winning his qualifier while Jason missed the transfer by just a few positions. Josh went on to finish 12th in the 40-lap main event.
