Josh Rice and JRR Motorsports attend Gobbler at Duck River Raceway Park
Tacking on an extra race before their trip to The Dome, Josh Rice and the JRR Motorsports team made their way over to Duck River Raceway Park (Shelbyville, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the 37th-running of The Gobbler.
Setting quicktime among the 33 entries on site, Rice started from the pole in the $7,500-to-win feature and led the first two circuits before a slidejob from a competitor took him out of contention. Josh finished with a 22nd-place DNF.
