Jason Jameson pockets $5,000 in Ike Moler Memorial with American Iron-Man Series

With all three JRR cars in action, Jason Jameson kicked off the weekend at Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio) on Friday evening among a 27-car Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series field for the Ike Moler Memorial.

Jameson missed the line during his time trial session, but recorded an impressive fifth-to-first charge in his heat race which earned him the pole for the 30-lap main event. Jason took the lead from the drop of the green flag and led wire-to-wire to score the $5,000 payday over Adam Stricker and Rusty Schlenk.

Justin Rattliff joined Jameson on Saturday afternoon for the $12,059-to-win Butterball Memorial at Richmond (Ky.) Raceway. Starting on the outside pole, Jason led the first 39 circuits before a tire issue pulled him pitside. Jameson was credited with a 19th-place finish while Rattliff kept his nose clean and finished just off the podium in fourth.

Daulton Wilson traveled further South to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned Topless 100.

Wilson earned a Top-10 in his preliminary feature on Friday evening before enduring a rough wreck during the 100-lap finale on Saturday. Daulton jumped the cushion in turns three and four which sent him careening into the wall. He was scored 23rd in the final rundown.
