Jason Jameson and Daulton Wilson make 35th Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury Speedway
Daulton Wilson kicked off the 35th-annual Prairie Dirt Classic on Wednesday afternoon at the famed Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway for the $20,000-to-win FloRacing Night in America show ahead of the two-day crown jewel weekend.
Wilson earned a provisional for the 50-lap main event and finished 20th. His teammate Jason Jameson joined him on Friday and Saturday.
Both JRR Motorsports drivers had a strong Friday night as Wilson recorded a Top-5 in fourth while Jason Jameson ran second to Brandon Sheppard in the $5,000-to-win showdown feature. The results locked both of them into the finale on Saturday.
With $50,000 up for grabs, Jameson faded and finished outside the Top-10 in 12th while Wilson found himself inside the Top-10 in ninth.
