Wilson sixth in Diamond Nationals finale at Lucas Oil Speedway
Making the march out to the Midwest, Daulton Wilson followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) on Thursday afternoon to kick off a three-day weekend across Iowa and Missouri.
Wilson finished just outside the Top-10 in Thursday's opening event and turned his attention to the CMH Diamond Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Friday and Saturday. Daulton finished seventh in the opener and finished one spot better in the $25,000-to-win finale on Saturday.
Fellow JRR Motorsports pilot Jason Jameson was in action on Friday night as he recorded a fourth-place finish at Florence Speedway (Walton, Ky.) in the $3,000-to-win unsanctioned event.
Wilson is now eighth in the LOLMDS point standings.
